Scotty
Cameron Select Putters 2014
There is a wonderful range of Scotty Cameron Select
putters released in 2014; there are 6 models to choose from. Choosing the right putter for you is very importnat, you need to take into account the shape, length and weight of the putter and your stroke
The 2014 Select
Newport has bold new graphics and a cherry red paint with the legendary Scotty
Cameron design, catapults the heel-and-toe-weighted Newport concept into the
stratosphere for a putter that inspires confidence by expounding on the
theories Scotty's mastered over decades of putter making.
The very popular Newport 2 has a longer
blade, with crisp back angles, and a single black sight line for refined
precision. A deep milled face produces Tour-proven feel and a crisp sound that
instantly instill confidence. Weights in the heel and toe perfectly complement
shaft lengths to achieve optimal balance and stability.
The Select Newport 2 Dual Balance is designed with a
50-gram back weight in the end of the longer 38” standard length shaft with
another 50 grams of added head weight; unmatched stability and performance are
unleashed. Imagine a pure stroke guided by your putter's inherent design.
This is quite similar to the Newport 2,
but it has a little flare in the neck line, it has a slightly shorter length
blade to give you a little more control. It has a deep milled face
this provides a solid feel but a soft sound. It has balance and stability in
the putter which has select weights in the heal and toe.
Scotty designed an entirely new Fastback. With its
pop-up sole plate,(milled from aircraft grade aluminum) and shaved grams from
the center of the sole, which allowed him to move stainless steel out and
around the putter.
The sole on the new Select Squareback has a bold
crisscross sight line; (the topside of Scotty’s new pop-up sole plate)
simplifies alignment. It’s almost too easy. Set up and roll, it has a thicker
topline and deep milled face exude sweet feel at impact, while the overall
construction is a breakthrough in putter design.
